Ordering a bespoke lampshade

Can I have a Lampshade made in a different fabric?

Looking for a custom lampshade made from a fabric not currently available on our website? We're here to help! While we can accommodate many requests, it's important to note that not all fabrics are suitable for lampshade creation. Heavier fabrics or those that fray may not work well, and the direction of the fabric print is crucial—large prints might not suit smaller shades, and horizontal stripes may not be ideal for sloped designs. Feel free to reach out for more information, and let's discuss your options!

Can I have a lampshade made in my own fabric?

Do you have a specific fabric in mind? Maybe you have some remaining fabric from another interior project? We can usually accommodate this but we may require a swatch to check suitability. Just remember, some fabrics are not suitable as they be too heavy, have a weave that frays, or the fabric is not recommended for use due to its composition. It is also worth considering the the fabric pattern and design in relation to the lampshade size and shape.

Bespoke Lampshades Cost

As a general guideline, our pricing includes cost of the shade plus an additional 25% to cover any extra labour. Please be aware that there may be additional fees. A detailed quote will be provided before you complete your purchase.

Lampshade Pendant Position

Do you require your lampshade for a table/standard lamp or a ceiling pendant? Our drum and oval lampshades made in a fabric with no pattern will be suitable for a ceiling or a table fitting. If you opt for a patterned fabric, please let us know which fitting position you require. Wall fittings tend to require a table fitting and floor lamps that extend over require a ceiling fitting.
