The Mademoiselle Daisy print has a beautiful cobalt green background and is adorned with geometric daisies, which take inspiration from Art Nouveau.
There is a constant evolution at The Chateau, which provides inspiration all year round. In 2019 the Strawbridge’s bought a vintage Asquith van, with dreams of turning it into a travelling adventure bus. During its transformation Angel joked about it feeling very “Driving Miss Daisy”, a thirty-year old film loved by Dick and Angel, and at that moment the bus was named. But, of course, the French version!
“Our first trip in the Asquith was round the Chateau’s grounds – so where better to look for inspiration than the wild daisies which flowered in abundance for the first time that year. Re-imagined with Art Nouveau patterning, the daisy motif combines the great outdoors with rich colouring to create a playful and contemporary design, with a backward glance to more carefree times.”
