    All our lampshades at Berry & Grouse are carefully crafted to order, ensuring the highest quality for each customer. Our standard processing time is 7 days, but during busier periods, please allow up to 14 days for your order to be completed. If you require your lampshade sooner, we offer expedited services for an additional fee.

     

    Rest assured that your order will be shipped via recorded courier, with a signature required upon delivery to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase. We are committed to environmentally friendly practices, so we use 100% biodegradable cellophane packaging that is fully recyclable.

  • Material Placement

    At Berry & Grouse, we take great pride in our attention to detail when it comes to the placement of material on our lampshades. Each piece is carefully crafted to ensure the best possible outcome for the shape and size selected. If you would like to see a picture of your order before it is shipped, just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate your request.

     

    We exclusively use authentic fabric from Sophie Allport, guaranteeing a high-quality finish for all of our products. As an authorised stockist, you can trust that you are receiving genuine and premium materials with every order.

     

    Please note that on multiple orders, the material will be a continuation of the design unless otherwise requested, additional charges may apply for custom arrangements.

    Note from manufacturer: There may be up to a 2cm discrepancy in the print alignment, due to the printing process. We would not class this as a fault, so please be aware of this prior to ordering.

  • Fittings & Safety

    Fitting Information:

    All lampshades are lovingly made to order using high quality professional materials. Our Lampshade frames will connect with UK and European Lampholders or Pendant Fittings. Frames can also be used with USA Harp & Finial fittings, by using our converting washers (please get in contact prior to purchase). The converter plug in the centre of the fitting comes fitted but can be easily removed.

    Lampholder Types:

    • B22 Bayonet Cap  Lampholders (UK) -  Adaptor Fitted
    • E14 Edison Screw Lampholders  (EU)    Adaptor Fitted
    • E27 Edison Screw Lampholders  (EU)    Adaptor Removed
    • E26 Edison Screw Lampholders  (US)    Adaptor Removed
    • Candle clip lampshades clip onto standard candle shaped bulbs.

    The converter (reducer) ring size is 29mm (suitable for standard UK lamp fittings). This can be easily be removed to increased the fitting ring size to 40mm (suitable for standard EU fittings). 

    The fitting sits 40mm inside the lampshade. This will be at the top or the bottom depending on your lampshade pendant position (table at the bottom or ceiling at the top).

     

    Safety Information:

    Lampshade materials have tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association and includes flame retardant PVC, that meets UK standards. Test certificates can be provided upon request. 

    • Complies with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries
    • Passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association
    • Anti-static treated to minimise attraction of dust.
    • UV stabilised - Anti Yellowing
    • High impact strength  
    • Exceptional tear resistance.

    Low energy bulbs are recommended with this product. If using a regular bulb, a 60 watt or under.The fabric has been sprayed with a non-hazardous, non-toxic, water-based fire proofing spray.

  • Returns and Exchanges

    We kindly accept returns, but please note that the buyer is responsible for the return postage costs. Exceptions may apply, so we recommend reading our Returns & Exchanges policy for complete information.

     

    Each lampshade is meticulously handcrafted to order, so we recommend carefully verifying the measurements to ensure they are suitable for your lamp fitting and location. If you need any assistance or guidance in selecting the right lampshade, we are more than willing to help. 

     

    Please be aware that custom orders cannot be returned.

  • Colour Disclaimer

    Variations in dye batches, yarn colours, and pattern repeats may occur to a slight extent between batches, but they are within the manufacturer's tolerance levels.

    The colours of the products may appear different on computer monitors due to display settings and individual perception.

     

    Note from manufacturer: There may be a variation in colour of the ground material/linen, which may affect how the colour of the print is perceived.

     

    Although fabric stock photos are sourced from the manufacturer, we cannot assure that the colour depicted accurately represents the actual fabric colour.

     

    To ensure the suitability of the colour, we recommend requesting a free sample before making a purchase.
