  • Lampholder Information

    All lampshades include a E27 screw lamp holder with fitted 2 meters switched cable and UK 3pin plug and is fully tested in compliance with EU legislation for health and safety. Recommended 60 Watt bulb.

  • Processing Time

    All our items are handmade and can take between 3 days – 2 weeks depending on fabric and ringset availability. At peak times a 1-2 week processing time can occur. If you would like to know the processing time just pop me a message. Items can be expedited but may incur extra charges (e.g express delivery)

  • Additional Information

    All table and floor cylinder lampshades have 3 white feet, white PVC liner, Single seam

    An EU cable and 2 pin plug can be requested instead at no extra cost.

     

    • MATERIAL PLACEMENT: Placement of material can vary from pictures shown. Great care and attention are given to assure the best placement of material with regards to the lampshade shape and size selected. A picture of your order can be sent prior to shipment upon request. Berry & Grouse uses authentic fabric but is not sponsored or affiliated to the fabric manufacturer. This material features a tapestry type design. Therefore, on multiple orders the material will be a continuation of the design.

     

    • SAFETY: These lampshades are lovingly made to order using high quality professional materials. Your lampshade can be used in the UK (standard beyonet cap lamp holder most common UK fitting) and Europe (Edison screw lampholders E27 most common in Europe) the converter plug in the centre of the fitting can be removed. Candle clip lampshades clip onto standard candle bulbs. Lampshade materials have tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association and includes flame retardant PVC, that meets UK standards. Test certificates can be provided upon request. Low energy bulbs are recommended with this product. Sprayed with a non-hazardous, non-toxic water-based fire proofing spray.

Our standard processing time is 7 days, but during busier periods, please allow up to 14 days for your order to be completed. If you require your lampshade sooner, we offer expedited services for an additional fee.

  • Fittings and Safety

    Fitting Information:

    All lampshades are lovingly made to order using high quality professional materials. Our Lampshade frames will connect with UK and European Lampholders or Pendant Fittings. Frames can also be used with USA Harp & Finial fittings, by using our converting washers (please get in contact prior to purchase). The converter plug in the centre of the fitting comes fitted but can be easily removed.

     

    Lampholder Types:

    B22 Bayonet Cap  Lampholders (UK) -  Adaptor Fitted

    E14 Edison Screw Lampholders  (EU)    Adaptor Fitted

    E27 Edison Screw Lampholders  (EU)    Adaptor Removed

    Candle clip lampshades clip onto standard candle shaped bulbs.

     

    The converter (reducer) ring size is 29mm (suitable for standard UK lamp fittings). This can be easily be removed to increased the fitting ring size to 40mm (suitable for standard EU fittings). 

     

    The fitting sits 40mm inside the lampshade. This will be at the top or the bottom depending on your lampshade pendant position (table at the bottom or ceiling at the top).

     

    Safety Information:

    Lampshade materials have tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association and includes flame retardant PVC, that meets UK standards. Test certificates can be provided upon request.

    Variations in dye batches, yarn colours, and pattern repeats may occur to a slight extent between batches, but they are within the manufacturer's tolerance levels.

     

    The colours of the products may appear different on computer monitors due to display settings and individual perception.
